A peaceful refuge from congestion

Sankarman , Washington DC, District of Columbia

Location a bit remote especially at night but that is what makes it a secluded, peaceful place to relax, recharge and enjoy nature. Surrounded by mountains. We had a great time just being in our room or walking the grounds.

Stayed December 2010, travelled as a couple

Nice place to relax

The hotel offers a a swimming pool, restaurant and bar serving multi cuisine. Internet and money exchange facilities were unique in this place.

Safe deposit lockers (additional cost) are available. which was a very good service.

The food was ok and i cant find any big negatives.Would recommend for a peaceful stay and relax

Stayed March 2009, travelled on business

A rare delight

Yes, it is down an unmade road and in the countryside. This is a marvellous, simple place to stay if you can enjoy looking at a huge hillside behind the resort and the peaceful surroundings. There is the kind, caring attention of the manager who asked us what sort of food we liked and then chose and served us excellent simple meals.

Walks, bird watching, reading, resting and swimming in a large infinity pool with views all around gave us all we needed on site. Not far away is Suchindram with its fine temple and there is also a stonecutters village to explore.

Room Tip: the ones backing onto the hillside

The only resort in and around Kanyakumari

Tuticorinman, India

Even though there are many draw backs about the resort the efforts of Mr.Raju should be appreciated in developing such a resort idea in this area. To me its a heaven for people in this south side. I think that this would be the first and only resort near kanyakumari, tuticorin and trinelveli. The area is too far and remote i accept but only that gives a calm place to stay.Such a resort cannot be in the heart of the city. There is some lack of Staff and Maintenance but not that much bad for the price he offers. In future for sure when staffs are settled down sure Raju will provide better service. Anyway i have stayed thrice with my family we enjoyed the rooms and the pool. It was really a very calm place to relax. We all liked it will also repeat often.

Room Tip: Choose the cottages . Standard rooms are really too small.

Go there for your closest encounter with Nature

Jeevanjagga, New Delhi, India

We went there on our family vacation and loved every bit of 24 hours we'd spent

The resort is surrounded by Mountains and as a family we felt in real close connect in nature

Where else in this world you get to hear the music of winds and rainfall @ 1800 bucks (40 USD)

Add to that the personalised attention of hotel onwer Mr Raju with his great knowledge of local histroy & culuture and lip smacking meals by their chef (don't miss the tea & onion pakora's at sunset)

Also it's one of those resorts where with every passing hour the expereince keeps getting better, but with limited staff at resort be prepared for slow check in/out/housekeeping and basic restaurant

If you need any particular dish, the wise option will be to write to them in advance

if you're traveling with kids take them for a bird/peacock watching walk in their jungle area

Room Tip: Breakfast atop their watertank
